July 2026 Prayer Diary
1. Pray for Christians suffering intense persecution in Nigeria, Sudan, Mali and Burkina Faso.
2. Pray for our local schools; the teachers, children and governors.
3. Pray for all who come to our churches for the first time. May they experience the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
4.Great is thy faithfulness! Great is thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see; all I have needed thy hand has provided, great is thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me.
5. Give thanks for Graham and every part of his ministry. May he know the grace, wisdom and empowering of the Holy Spirit in this challenging time in the life of our benefice.
6. Pray for King Charles and his close family as they serve our nation.
7. Pray for blessing on all involved in the re-ordering of the South Aisle.
8. Pray for continued fruit from the ministry of the Land family in Bungay and beyond as they move on. This week Ed begins his new job as Mission Practitioner with the URC in East Anglia. Pray for openings to inspire others to know and shine for Jesus. Heather, too, has a fresh job using musical activities with young people as a springboard for faith.
9. Pray for our local care workers to bring hope and show love to those in their own homes or the community homes.
10. Pray for local businesses to thrive and our councils to make wise decisions.
11. Amazing grace! How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found; was blind but now I see. Give thanks.
12. Pray for our church wardens, lay elders and PCC members.
13. Pray for Barnabas Aid, Tearfund, Christian Aid and Embrace the Middle East.
14. Pray for Francesco, Zoe and their children serving Jesus in Kosovo.
15. Give thanks for sponsors and team members of Compassion as they release children from poverty and teach them about Jesus.
16. Pray for all working at Bungay Medical Centre.
17. Pray for foodbanks. Give thanks for those who serve and enable them to bless the recipients.
18. For I’m building a people of power and I’m making a people of praise, that will move through this land by my Spirit, and will glorify my precious name. Build your church, Lord, make us strong, Lord, join our hearts, Lord, through your Son. Make us one, Lord, in your body, in the kingdom of your Son.
19. Pray for our Archdeacon Rich. May he continue his Spirit-filled ministry, guiding us through these challenging times.
20. Pray for our farming communities.
21. Pray for all who have been challenged by the ‘Talking Jesus’ course. May the Holy Spirit give them courage and boldness in their witness.
22. Pray for those we know with mental health issues and all who try to help them.
23. Pray for the ministry of Quiet Waters.
24. Pray for any musicians in our area who would enjoy enhancing our worship.
25. How great is our God, sing with me, how great is our God, and all will see how great, how great is our God.
26. Pray for our Bishops Joanne and Luke.
27. Pray for Ukraine and all its people as we hear the latest news.
28. Pray for the daily witness of members of our congregations.
29. Pray for Leon Collyer and his family as he ministers in the scattered communities in the ‘Saints’.
30. Pray for a reduction in the economic gulf between the nations.
31. Pray for one another, giving thanks for the friendships we enjoy as we meet together.
