October 2025         Prayer Diary

1. Give thanks for Graham’s ministry and pray for ongoing blessing, guidance and inspiration.

2. Pray for all working at Bungay Medical Centre.

3. Pray for all who come to our churches for the first time. May they experience the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

4. Lord for the years your love has kept and guided, urged and inspired us, cheered us on our way, sought us and saved us, pardoned and provided: Lord of the years, we bring our thanks today.

5. We pray for our archdeacons Rich and Sally. May Rich continue to offer wisdom in the diocese and Sally be blessed in her sabbatical.

6. Pray for our farming communities.

7. Pray for Christians suffering persecution in Nigeria, Myanmar, Congo and Sudan.  

8. Pray for Ed on his sabbatical and for Heather, Nathan and the Lightwave Core Team.

9. Pray for the ministry of Quiet Waters.

10. Pray for those we know with mental health issues and all who try to help them.

11. Standing in your presence, Lord, my heart and life are changed; just to love you and to live to see your beauty and your grace. Heaven and earth cry out your name, nations rise up and see your face; and your kingdom is established as I live to know you more. Now I will never be the same; Spirit of God my life you have changed, and I’ll for ever sing your praise. I live to know you, Lord. I live to know you, Lord.

12. Pray for our Archbishop Stephen Cottrell.

13. Pray for Francesco, Zoe and their children serving Jesus in Kosovo.

14. Pray for local businesses to thrive and our councils to make wise decisions.

15. Pray for our church wardens, lay elders and PCC members.

16. Give thanks for sponsors and team members of Compassion as they release children from poverty and teach them about Jesus.

17. Pray for a reduction in the economic gulf between the nations.

18. Jesus be the centre, be my source, be my light, Jesus. Jesus be the centre, be my hope, be my song, Jesus. Be the fire in my heart, be the wind in these sails, be the reason that I live, Jesus, Jesus.

19. Pray for Heather as she restarts Soul Choir and for protection and blessing on Barnaby and Judah.

20. Pray for Ukraine and all its people as we hear the latest news.

21. Pray for our local schools, for teachers, children and governors. We also pray for those affected by the sudden withdrawal of Sixth form at the High School.

22. Pray for Leon Collyer and his family as he ministers in ‘The Saints.’

23. Pray for the daily witness of members of our congregations.

24. Pray for foodbanks. Give thanks for those who serve and enable them to bless the recipients.

25. Give me a sight, O Saviour, of Thy wondrous love to me, of the love that brought Thee down to earth to die on Calvary. O make me understand it, help me to take it in; what it meant to Thee, the Holy One to take away my sin.

26.Pray for Barnabas Aid, Tearfund, Christian Aid and Embrace the Middle East.

27. Pray for our local library service as they serve both readers and those who need help and pleasant place to relax.

28. Pray for our local care workers to bring hope and show love to all they help in community homes or their own.

29.Pray for contacts through men’s breakfast and the ladies’ Care and Share group.

30.Pray for protection and blessing on those who have recently been baptized or confirmed. Pray for others considering taking a further step in their faith.

31. Pray for King Charles and those alongside him serving our nation.
