December 2025         Prayer Diary

1. Pray for Christians suffering persecution in Nigeria, Sudan, Eritrea and Burkina Faso.

2. Pray for Francesco, Zoe and their children serving Jesus in Kosovo.

3. Give thanks for Graham’s ministry and pray for ongoing blessing, guidance and inspiration.

4. Pray for our farming communities

5. Pray for the daily witness of members of our congregations.

6. From heaven you came, helpless babe, entered our world, your glory veiled, not to be served but to serve, and give your life that we might live. This is our God, the Servant King, he calls us each to follow him, to bring our lives as a daily offering of worship to the Servant King.

6, Pray for local businesses to thrive and our councils to make wise decisions.

7. Pray for Leon Collyer and his family as he ministers in the Saints.

8. Pray for foodbanks. Give thanks for those who serve and enable them to bless the recipients.

9, Pray for King Charles and those alongside him serving our nation.

10. Pray for Ed, Heather, Nathan and the Lightwave Core Team.

11. Pray for Ukraine and all its people as we hear the latest news.

12. Pray for local businesses to thrive and our councils to make wise decisions.

13.Thou didst leave thy throne and thy kingly crown when thou camest to earth for me, but in Bethlehem’s home was there found no room for thy holy nativity. O come to my heart Lord Jesus, there is room in my heart for you.

14. Pray for protection and blessing for Barnaby and Judah.

15. Pray for our local schools, for teachers, children and governors.

16. Pray for our local care workers to bring hope and show love to all they help in community homes or their own.

17. Pray for contacts through men’s breakfast and the ladies’ Care and Share group.

18. Pray for archdeacons Rich and Sally. May Rich continue to offer wisdom in the diocese and Sally be blessed in her sabbatical.

19. Pray for inspiration to Heather as she guides young people singing and playing instruments.

20. What can I give him, poor as I am? If I were a shepherd I would bring a lamb; if I were a wise man I would do my part, yet what I can I give him: give my heart.

21. Pray for our church wardens, lay elders and PCC members.

22. Pray for all who come to our churches for the first time. May they experience the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

23. Give thanks for sponsors and team members of Compassion as they release children from poverty and teach them about Jesus.

24. Pray for protection and blessing on those who have recently been baptized or confirmed. Pray for others considering taking a further step in their faith.

25. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory as of the one and only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.(John 1 v14) rejoice and give thanks.

26. Pray for Barnabas Aid, Tearfund, Christian Aid and Embrace the Middle East.

27.What kind of greatness can this be, that chose to be made small? Exchanging untold majesty for a world so pitiful. That God should come as one of us, I’ll never understand. The more I hear the story told, the more amazed I am. O what else can I do but kneel and worship you, and come just as I am, my whole life an offering.

28. Pray for a reduction in the economic gulf between the nations.

29. Pray for those with mental health issues and all who try to help them.

30. Pray for the ministry of Quiet Waters.

31. Pray for all working at Bungay Medical Centre.
